you might have a broken shift dog. try disconnecting the shift linkages and turning them with pliers first to see if shifter is out of adjustment first.

Have 2001 trailblazer polaris 2 stroke gets fire but wont start it will back fire through the carb but that's all it will do anyone know what it might be

try to start with full throttle...starts? need to adjust carb.
carb needle needs to be 1 1/2 - 2 turns out. may need a carb rebuild (kit) not that bad to do unless your in minnesota like me and working in -18f.
Hope this helps a little.
how old is the fuel? that could be a problem too.

My 2005 Polaris sportsman 700 efi has a shift lever problem. It says in low where the high position should be. is it stripped or is there a way to adjust it?

your shift linkage could be out of adjustment. the two rods that run to your transmission. try disconnecting one and see if it shift *(without the engine running), then do the same thing for the other. if it shift into high without the low gear shift linkage disconnected, then they are out of adjustment.

Probably the ECM, if you have a good, charged battery, spark plug, wiring is not damaged, and kill switches are in "run".

Wiring polaris trail blazer 250 diagram

There are several places you can go on the web that have free atv repair/owners manuals. The owners manuals usually have a wiring schematic on or towards the last page also trouble shooting diagrams with instruction in them.

Type in your search bar: atv polaris (year) model:trailblazer/500cc.
If you like email: tamatha1102@live.com with specs and I will email it to you.

Hope this was helpful
