That plug is getting hit by your piston so timing belt has gone .and you have an interface engine so all the top half of your engine is now gone ,so head is gone and your pistons.

How to change cam sensor on pontiac GR AM 3,4L 1999

Place a jack underneath the engine with a block of wood on it as to not damage the engine and pump up the jack just enough to keep the engine from sagging down. Then remove the engine mount near the power steering unit. Removing the motor mount doesn't have to be done, but it makes it easier to remove the power steering pump (your choice). Remove power steering pump and set it aside keeping all the hoses attached. Camshaft position sensor is located beneath power steering pump. It should be held on by 1 bolt if I remember right. Disconnect the 2 wire harness and remove sensor.

Start up

You provided no info on the vehicle motor,so
I would assume you may have an Air Idle Solenoid
next to the throttle or on the intake manifold, that you
can remove & try cleaning or replace.

When you turn the ignition all of the lights and gauges come on, but when you try to start it it doesn't do anything.

This sounds like an anti theft security problem. Whe the security starts to fail, it locks the starter and keeps it from starting. Look for a light that says SECURITY the next time this happens. If you see this, then check out this link for info and DO IT YOURSELF solutions.

My mitsubishi montero sport over heated and now it doesn't start. What could have happened? it sounds like it's going tostart but it doesn't go all the way, it just makes a wierd noise.

To start check the oil and see if it is milky looking on the dipstick if so you have likely crack the head or blown a head gasket and possibly warped some valves witch would keep it from starting.

Jeep makes a whining sound when I turn left sometimes. Doesn't do it when turning right ever and only seems to do it when driving forward. Only happens at low speeds and doesn't seem to affect...

It MAY,,,,,, be the start of a power steering pump problem.Just maybe. The pumps can moan and groan without leaking,so keep an eye on it.Hope this helps.

2003 dodge grand caravan has started dieing at idle.

vans in that year all have throttle body injection and are preset as long as there is enough voltage from the battery could be a low battery charge or a bad sensor not telling the computor to keep fuel going at a stop if the check engine light goes on also when that happens if it doesn t bad fuel and a fuel injection cleaner might help and see what happens after that
