When I start my 2010 Prius, its starts but when I take my foot off the brake, the power button turns red.

Sounds like your 12 volt battery is weak (strong enough to start but not enough to maintain). Of the Prius' 2 batteries, this one is by far the easiest and cheapest to replace (~$100 vs the ~$4700 Hybrid battery). I'd recommend taking the car to a shop and having the battery checked out. *Impotrant* Be sure to ask for a 'load test' instead of a simple voltage check. This should be a quick and free test from any auto parts store.

When I start my 2010 prius it starts, but buy the time I take my food off the brake the start button turns red.

Sounds like your starting battery is going dead. You may want to either go onto Prius Chat's website and search for this: 1NZ-FXE Charging - for self install directions. Good luck!

Check hybrid system light came on on a 2010 prius. Car runs fine.

It's a year old. Take it to the dealer immediately and have it repaired under warrantee. Don't wait too long or they might say further damage was caused because you didn't get it looked at immediately.
