Question about Acura Cars & Trucks

What would cause a car to crank but not start on a 2002 ACURA TL 3.2L?

I sprayed starter fluid into the trottle body and it still won't start. I connected the OBDII, no DTC codes. How many possible causes are there. I need someone's help.

No reaction to starting fluid means no spark. Cam sensor, timing sensor, spark plug coils etc. Likely will take a mechanic with professional testing tools to find the cause.

SOURCE: My car battery dies for @ two hours i jumped it and then the radio wont work and is flashing code. i read manuel and did what it instructed for entering code provided with car and it still wont work w

Try the code again. Turn car key on. Turn radio on. Enter the 6 digit code, using the numbers on the preset channel button. It might take more than one time, if you entered the code wrong the first time. I entered it wrong the first time, took a few tries to unlock with correct code. Did it again today with the right code, and it worked the first time I entered it.

2001 Acura 3.2 tl has trouble starting. Battery works but when i turn the key there is no crank to start. Help.

You need to check the negative and positive terminals.then check the positive cable to starter is there 12 volts there.and check to make sure you are getting 12 volts with key in crank to the signal wire of the starter. That is the small one connector on the starter. If all power is there probably needs a new starter

2005 Acura tl car won't start

Do you get warning lights on the dash ?
If yes, a mechanic would check for voltage at the starter.
The circuit between the key switch and the starter has a neutral or clutch safety switch that could have failed.

My 96 crown vic police interceptor, cranks won't start without spraying starter fluid.. the car won't start without spraying starter fluid into air intake hose to carb...

starting fluid is a thing of the past. dont use it. this car doesnt have a carb, its a throttle body/ electronic fuel injection system. you most likely have a fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator issue. test the fuel pressure, should be anywheres from 35-50 psi

My 2002 dodge stratus will turn over but not start.

have you check if you have spark and fuel?? to test the fuel you can go to auto zone and buy a can of starter fluid its an aereosol can just spray a little of it on the trottle body and try to start it if it does then you have a fuel pump failture, if it does no start then you most likely have a spark issue to test it you have to take one spark plug out and then connecti the spark plug cable like if it is on the engine and then use a set of booster cable and connect the negative cable to the negative post of the battery and the other end to the body of the spark plug and then have some one to crank the car and you have to see if there is a spark on top of the plug if you dont have spark then you must likely to have a bad coil pack, try this and tell us what happen.
