To Whom it may Concern, I own a 2004 Dodge Hemi

To Whom it may Concern, I own a 2004 Dodge Hemi Ram 4x2. I need to replace the serpentine belt. The old one shredded. I can not seem to find the belt diagram anywhere. I am pretty sure that the tension pully is located right below the alternater. What is the best plan of attack after peeling the old one out. Thank you in advance, Bill

Can I bypass ac compressor on a 2004 dodge ram 5.7 hemi?

If you are referring to running the serpentine belt without the compressor, you might be able to, but you may have an awful time doing it!
Understand that cutting the compressor out of the loop may not be possible, unless you take the compressor completely off the engine, because sometimes it is " in the way" of a replacement shorter belt.
A cloth tape measure used by a seamstress or in sewing is a really good way to determine how long the shorter replacement belt needs to be, when you wrap it around the remaining pulleys.
God bless your efforts.

What size serpentine belt would i need on 2004 ram 3500 with a 5.7 liter hemi with a/c delete

fan belts are measured in millimeters and ribs a usual inked number would be 6pk240 meaning a 6 rib belt width with 240mm in length So know how many ribs you have from the old belt makes this easy to find the length by taking kite string and following the belt diagram to get the length granted when coming to tensioner you have to subtract some from the string or have someone hold tension about half the travel this will get you close the Gates belt number is K071013 (7 rib 101.8 inches) look for K070880 about 85-91 inches

How can you tell when the water pump on a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 Truck with a 5.7 Hemi engine is going bad?

You could pull the serpentine belt and run the engine to see if the noise continues. The bearing for one of the pulleys could be failing, including the water pump and alternator.
It could also be the fan and fan clutch on the water pump.
