there is a possibility that it could cause numerous issues, including shifting and braking problems(w/ABS). The vehicle is doing adaptive strategy each time you reconnect and drive. Vehicles have to go thru 3 drive cycles, and this doesn't mean 3 trips to the store and back, to readjust after memory is lost from battery interruption.

Could be any of a host of problems. I'll list as many as I can think of, off the top, and even include some glaringly obvious ones:
Out of gas. Dead battery. Does it try to spin over? If it is the battery, have the alternator tested. sometimes, it dies, and takes the battery with it. Others, a battery can die, and kill the alternator at the same time Fouled spark plugs. Battery and alternator good, but it doesn't spin? It's the starter.
Clogged or blocked fuel line, especially the filters.
Bad control computer or ignition system; Distributor, points, condenser, or coil.
Basically, any car starting problem boils down to fuel or spark. If the plugs don't spark, they can't ignite the fuel. If fuel isn't getting in, all the spark in the world won't help. Except for the starter. If it won't turn over, neither spark nor fuel help.

Try disconnecting the battery again, only the + side. Wait for 3-5 min before hooking back up. Turn the switch on but not over, then start the car after a few seconds.

can you hear the pump running when trying to spray rear window ? the pumps can get clogged up over time so might be a good idea to remove pump and check if filter is clear, can't be more specific as need to know vehicle make, model, year etc

Without testing who knows ? Hooking up a professional scan tool an doing a full vehicle scan is what should be done . Not guessing , that's all anyone on here can do. Your best bet ,take it to the dealer or some other qualified repair shop.

What make , model an year vehicle ? Electrical shorts cause fuse's to blow . Do you know how to read a wiring diagram ? How to use a DVOM - digital volt ohmmeter to test electrical circuits ? If not ,your best bet would be to take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop.
