Sound to me you got faulty security switch check them 1st, specially the kick stand, most bike locks up if you try to place it in gears while the kick stand is still on. hope it helps

SOURCE: electric start cliking, lights flicker when running

if you have a volt meter, check the battery cables for voltage when its running. if you read above 12 volts, then your charging system is fine - replace the battery. if less than 12 volts, then you have a bad stator winding and will need to have the charging portion of the stator replaced. probably about a $300 part.

Sounds like your battery is about dead... replace the battery and clean the connectors/wires/terminals.. and a little waterproof grease will stop the corrosion. Make sure the new connections are tight!

How long since the oil has been changed? Is the oil level OK? It sounds like you have a sticky valve that hangs open once in a while.

Kawasaki brute force 750 cranks over then locks up

many things could be wrong, bad connecting rod bearing will let the piston hit the crank, broken gear in the tranny ,gear on the starter not meshing correctly, be checking for any noise when it is cranking.
