i think no they will not create you problem, because the the main board of device is originally from samsung and you only just update software (which is free from samsung) and change hardware spare parts (that mean maybe you have damaged the parts and you change to use proparly device. so i think there is no issue.

About 89% of the time, it costs more to replace the screen. If their is important info in your memory, or you simply prefer to have it replaced, have your local electronics store replace it (If it is offered). You can also call Samsung with your problem:

Thank you for using FixYa,
You can't change the messaging tone to a song from your music playlist, these options for choosing your own music as ringtones are restricted to an alarm tone, phone ringtone and caller ringtone (caller ringtone is when specific people calls you, a certain ringtone would appear for that caller to differentiate between callers)
However, you can change your message ringtone to certain ringtones for your Galaxy S phone by going through the following steps: (P.S I am assuming that you are using the stock Samsung SMS application)
1) Go to your stock Samsung SMS app (it's named as 'Messaging')
2) Press the softkey 'menu' button
3) Go to settings, scroll down and from there you can see the option 'select ringtone'

1. try entering null as password.2. try entering your username without @gmail.com3. Combine 1 and 24. Call yourself from another phone, answer, without hanging up press the home button, then menu button, settings, try to disable pattern-lock5. Call yourself from another phone, answer, hang-up, directly after hanging up start pressing your buttons like a madman for <30-60 seconds ending with your home button (might take a while to get the timing right). Go into settings and disable pattern-lock.6. Try the normal recover password routine from GMail.com
7. Perform a factory reset. YOU WILL LOOSE all not-synced DATA (SD card will be left untouched).
1-6 are possible workarounds, these doesn't work for everyone but can be worth a try to avoid factory reset. 6. is what should work but hardly never does. 7 - The factory reset always work
Added reference with some additional info, how to factory reset can be found there.Good luck!

Typically when a mobile device is locked, it wants the original e-mail account name and password it was setup with. You shouldn't need internet connectivity to unlock the phone. If you can log into your account at https://mail.google.com/ that's good, but it doesn't guarantee it's the same account the device is using or the original password used.
In some cases, if the device can receive a call, you can access the menu during the call and disable the screen lock.
If you don't remember the username and the account was properly setup at creation time, you can recover the name using "I forgot my username" here: http://support.google.com/mail/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=46346 And here's a trick to recover an account name on an Android device: https://productforums.google.com/d/topic/gmail/ydNElvUjJVU/discussion
If you have the username, the following will help with the process to recover the account by resetting the password: http://gmailaccountrecovery.blogspot.com/
BUT... A recovered account or changed password won't have the original password which is what the device needs to be unlocked. In that case the device will probably need to have a factory reset done (read the owner's manual for instructions) and then setup again with an e-mail account (be sure to write the information down this time). If it's setup with the recovered e-mail account, any purchased apps and synced data should be restored. If a new account needs to be created, all previous information will be lost.

Do you have other devices such as tablets, notebook, PC, or smart devices on the same Wi-Fi network? Do they have a similar problem?

Try logging on to a different Wi-Fi network such as free services in some shops and stores. If you cannot connect anywhere, your phone may be bad.

first of all try putting the phone into recovery mode and clear the davlick and the ordinary cache and reboot.
If that dosen't work you'll need to re-flash the firmware for your model of phone, you'll need the samsung usb drivers available from here SAMSUNG USB Driver for Mobile Phones v1 5 25 0 retail exe, odin v3.07 flash program availabe from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1168421 and most of all the firmware you can get from Firmware archive Samsung Updates make sure the one you download is for your network and country.

1.install the usb drivers from samsung on your computer
2. power off the phone then put it into download mode
3. run odin 3.07 and locate the downloaded firmware it will need to be unzipped to a folder on your desktop before you can flash it
4. on odin don't touch any of the pre-checked boxes, the pda button click on it and select the firmware once loaded plug your phone into the usb port on your pc - where id: com window is - should turn light blue with a com port number, now hit the start button at the bottom and wait till its finished.

5. when the phone restarts unplug the phone and all should be ok

Hopefully you should be up and running again:-) SAMSUNG USB Driver for Mobile Phones v1 5 25 0 retail exe

Hi Chanki, one question before posting my solution, did this happen after an update? Usually when update goes wrong, it deletes a folder or mess up a folder named EFS, here is the information for your imei among other info. If you have a little bit of knowledge on how to flash a firmware, then I recommend that you download Odin (a software for Windows which will allow you to flash firmware for Samsung devices) and a stock ROM (firmware) for you model. By flashing an original firmware, would replace and fix the missing EFS folder.
