It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

If you are not afraid of taking the tv apart you can check the connections of the ribbon cables and check to see if you have any swollen capacitors. If these look good your control board may be going out.

This is generally a sign of a failed power supply and the repair will likely require a technician to locate the failed parts which are most often cheap electrolytic capacitors.

You can try pulling the AC plug overnight and try it again the following day.
All modern sets have complex integrated circuits and these may lock up on occasion.
Removing power overnight may allow it to recover.
