Not quite sure what you need. Have you registered the Kindle yet? You can register by following these instructions
  1. From Home, swipe down from the top of the screen and then tap Settings.
  2. Tap My Account.
    1. Tap Register. If you already have an Amazon account: Enter your Amazon account information, and then tap Continue.
  3. If you have trouble, log on to Amazon.com using your computer not the kindle. Just below the search bar click help, then click device help. One the left column you will see Contact Us. Click that and fill in your info, ask for call back. They are usually quick with the call back and someone can talk you through getting the problem resolved.

maybe a silly answer but i have seen worse...: is the caps lock on? or does your password have special characters ? try typing your password in a textbox somewhere and see it it's correct on screen

Use computer not kindle> log into amazon.com. click on help just under search bar. click device support. contact support by filling in info and for this one request call back. They are fairly quick and can talk you through fixes.

off what account? I'm guessing you had a disagreement with a co-user.
log onto amazon.com just below the search bar you'll see help. click that, then device support, fill out info and they will answer your questions. I suggest you request call back and leave your number. They are fairly quick to call back and will help you get your account fixed.

The KIND you need for a Kindle is one with a 3.5mm jack if you want a wired one. As for which one to buy, there are too many variables that we don't know - price range vs. quality, wired vs. wireless, earbud or surround, etc. etc.

On main menu screen swipe down from the top and you will see
Wireless press left arrow and you will see a menu with blue tooth listed .turn on and opair headphones.

On the main screen swipe downward on the screen with your finger and you will see it says WiFi ,touch this and itxwill open up to available connections. If it says open it should connect you. If it show a lock it is acsecure site and will require a password.

I recall a TV show saying that sometimes Kindle's break down and that there is nothing can fix them. Models (it said) seem to have only a limited operational life.
You can of course buy a refurbished model, but they are picked from certain models that had specific faults that were fixable, but sent back under warranty. A new model being sent out to the person that returned it. If your Kindle was out of warranty. The Amazon people would be under pressure to encourage you to get a new one, hence the reply. But that is my opinion. I think the company on the whole is very good at customer service. But I doubt it is set up to encourage repairs of out of warranty items.

Go online to amazon.com, click the help(just under the search bar).
click the request help and fill out the info. I usually leave my phone number and they call back when the next tech is available. Usually doesn't take long; they will help you work through it for fix.
