Question about Hoover Washing Machines
Al was correct in stating that a service call is needed. E08 is a motor error. The control boards detects an incorrect input from the tachio-sensor attached to the motor. The motor, mechanics, wiring and control board must be tested.

Thanks for your answer. The book does say 'call an engineer!'
My husband thought that it might be something that he could do himself though. No worries, we'll sort something out as I HATE hand washing :S

This is one of the new type washing machines with a electronic operating /programmer and as such a lot of these type of faults can only be diagnosed with appropiate dealers machine as this is like europeon cars with encrypted software for the OBDII.So iam afraid you may have to call the service engineer to rectify the fault ,what does it say in the handbook for this fault code or does it just say call this number ??

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
