Why wont my dryer stay running?

Good Morning Friend,

I understand that your Frigidaire dryer, model# FEQ1442ES, will not stay running. Please check to make sure the door is staying closed. If the door is opening in mid-cycle, then the dryer will stop running. Also, make sure the plug is in the socket tightly. Your dryer could be shaking the plug loose, which could possibly be causing it to stop running. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Replaced the heating element of our Frigidaire Gallery Dryer, model # GLER331AS2 and still not heating. What next?

Hello,
The next thing to check is going to be the HIGH LIMIT THERMOSTAT it fits onto the outside of that round housing where the element is.To check it DISCONNECT POWER TO DRYER open up the dryer as you did to replace the heat element and remove the 2 wires from it,use a multimeter set a low ohms rating and check thermostat for continuty with ZERO ohms resistiance on the 2 terminals on that t-stat. IF that t-stat checks good, next check the cycling t-stat in same manner. IT's going to be in the housing where the blower wheel goes and not on the round housing. If that too checks to be good replace timer

Good luck,i hope i have been able to help you fix your dryer,
GENE

Wires came unplugged from behind control knob

Below is the link to the wiring diagram to your dryer, it should help some. In addition what I can tell you is that most appliance components have initials next to the connections that indicate what color wire is supposed to be connected to them, this is where the diagram should help. In cases of things like switches, buzzers, thermostats, things that only have to do with circuits being open or closed they will not have an initial so therfor it doesn't matter what wire goes to what connection. Post again if you need more help. http://www.appliance-parts-warehouse.com/frigidaire-parts/Frigidaire-Dryer-Parts/Frigidaire-Parts-GLER331AS2/Frigidaire-Parts-50169.cfm

Frigidaire faqe7011lw0 dryer having issues, not heating up and shuts off after 10 minutes My dryer model number is faqe7011lw0. It seems to start up, and then after about 10 minutes, consistently, it shuts off and has a bunch of blinking lights on the right side of the control panel. It started off with an error code of E4A which states "The drying time has exceeded program time for that cycle". I got that code to go away and then i got another code of "E4B" which states "Temperature reading of control thermistor has not changed in a certain amount of time". The second error code makes more sense because I notice in the 10 minutes that it runs, there seems to be no heat, so i feel something is causing the dryer to not heat up. The troubleshooting for this states to test a relay on the control panel, but I wanted to see if anyone else had this issue before. The weird thing about this is, if I run the dryer empty, the cycle completes the whole way through, but with wet clothes, it shuts off exactly at 10 minutes, no matter what cycle i set it to. I thought maybe this was a sign I had too large of a load in, so I took out about half the clothes, and ran it then. I still got the same issue. So I am kind of confused why when I run it empty, I get the full cycle with no error code, but with anything in the dryer at all, it stops after 10 minutes and gives me an error code. FYI, I have check the exhaust too to make sure it isn't clogged with lint, and it is wide open.
