Hi. I'm going to upgrade my iPad and transfer the information using iCloud....she says hopefully. If I do that will it still keep my information on the old iPad. I'm hopeful it will.

I've uploaded pictures to iCloud and they have still been on my phone after the upload. I've also done the same with Amazon cloud services and the pics were in both places.
The iCloud is like a spare hard drive, all you do is copy the info to the cloud so it's available to download somewhere else when "you" log in....

Is Siri not on the original iPad?

Siri is not on the original iPad, because apple only put it on the iPad 3 gen and up. Most likely due to the face they want you to purchase a newer iPad, so they can make more money, more information can be found here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siri

How do l turn off facial recognition on iPad Air?

If you are using a jailbreak application for facial biometric security as a pass code like recognizeMe, then you should also be able to use a 4 digit back up method which is a requirement in case the facial recognition fails.

You could also try to get a picture of your daughter and hold it up to get an OAuth.

finally, if those do not work, plug in your iPad and hope it auto connects to wifi, it will perform a backup of data and apps to the cloud. Put the iPad in DFU mode, tethered to a computer and perform a system restore.

I dropped my iPad cracked the screen bad , it won't come on just wanted to save some things

You don't need the screen to hook it up to a computer with iTunes and then you can make a full backup. Although if you never have made a backup on a computer it could ask you to enter your pass code and or account information on the iPad.
If you were saving your things in the cloud, connecting a new iPad with the same account, will retrieve everything in the cloud on your new iPad.
Just goto the Apple store and ask if they can help you with the backup if you can't retrieve you need so badly.

If iOS 7 is installed on the device then this is a built-in security measure against theft to prevent a thief from erasing content and using as new. You will need to get in touch with the original owners.

Ipad2 disabled lost passcoad

You have to restore your iPad to it's original factory settings. Do this by plugging it into the computer that you originally set up your iPad with. Then restore to original factory settings. This will erase all your data but at least you have an iPad.
