Go to amazon.co.uk;
select you account;
select manage content and devices;
log-in;
select devices

You kindle should be there. If it isn't then register it. If it is then deregister it and then register it again. Can't guarantee that will work because it never happened to me. Not too sure how this affects your listings of books though.Best research that first. I take it that you have had this registered before?

How do I deliver purchased kindle books to my iPad?

You need to log in the same kindle account and the purchased books will be synced automatically. If this doesn't work, you can convert the kindle books to epub file and transfer to ipad. You need to connect your Kindle device to computer and then convert the books in Kindle. After that, you can transfer the books to ipad with iTunes or iTransfer. I lost my Kindle. How do I transfer my books from the Kindle App on my Android phone to my new Kindle? The App shows that they are in the cloud.

Hi, there is no need to try to transfer content from your Android Kindle App to your Kindle as all content that is stored in the Kindle Cloud can be downloaded directly to your new Kindle once it's registered. Even the content that is downloaded to your Android remains on the Kindle Cloud. To see if your new Kindle is registered, click here and log in to your Kindle account.

https://www.amazon.com/mycd

Click the Device tab. If your new Kindle isn't already registered, you should have the option to register it. Or, alternately, you can register your new Kindle using Menu and Settings on the Kindle itself.

Once your Kindle is registered you can simply touch *Cloud* on the Home screen when connected to Wifi or 3G and examine the list of books, etc. Touch the ones you wish to download to your device and they should start downloading where they will be stored for off-line reading.

To get a password

To get your books you have to first register your Kindle to your Kindle account. You can do this using a laptop or desktop to log onto your account. Then you can register your device. Or, you can try registering your device in Settings on your device provided you are connected to WiFI or Whisperssynch aka 3G.

While connected to WiFI or Whispersynch then you have to touch *Cloud*, locate the books you want downloaded to your Kindle and touch them. They should start downloading to your device and be downloaded within minutes or less.

I have a new kindle. Can I tranfer my books onto from my old one?

You can easily load all of your books onto your new Kindle. Amazon retains a record of all your book purchases in an archive. When you register your new Kindle (and turn on wireless) it 'phones home' to Amazon and Amazon places an entry on your main menu entitled Archive. Just click on that entry and all of your past book purchases will appear and will automatically be downloaded to the Kindle when you click on them.

However, if your old Kindle contained any books, pictures, or documents that you did NOT purchase from Amazon, those items will not appear in the Amazon archive. You will have to download those items to your new Kindle the same way you installed them on the old Kindle. If the only location of those un-archived documents is the old Kindle, then this will become a two step process because you cannot copy from one Kindle directly to another. Instead you must copy the documents off the old Kindle onto a computer using the USB cable, and then copy the books from the computer onto the new Kindle by way of the USB cable or by email using an authorized email account. (To authorize an email account for sending books to your Kindle, please visit Amazon's "manage my devices" section. If the new Kindle is not registered, or if it is blacklisted, then you cannot use the email method to transfer the books. The only way to install books on an unregistered Kindle is directly via USB cable.)

As long as they are both registered to the same account. You can transfer them by going to 'Manage Your Kindle' or they will be archived, as long as you downloaded the books via Amazon.
