Question about Refrigerators
I would check the water solenoid on the back of the refrigerator, where the water line hooks. You should have two solenoids, one for ice maker, and one for water in the door. Should be no reason to pull the door apart.

check for a child lockout button it will look like a tiny padlock ,press and hold for 3 sec.(could be the freezer door light switch)

Have you tried adjusting the freezer temperature to a higher level? This worked for my Kenmore. It will take a couple of days to quit leaking.
