i fixed this exactly as previous posted solutions, however a couple of points.
a) recordable CDs work if you don't have a DVD burner.
b) I didn't have a CD burner that would do an "image burn", I downloaded a free copy of "Express Burn" and that worked fine. The disk needs to be "finalised" or "fixated", it should do this automatically, or it may be a tick box selection.
c) I got a "No DWLD 09" when I put the disk into the player. I found this was an incompatibility with the CD-R (Maxwell) I was using. I changed to JVC and it worked fine.

We just figured this out. We had already tried to update the firmware through the blu-ray device itself directly from the website. For some reason, that was not successful. We had to download the latest firmware from the samsung site onto our computer and then burn it onto a CD. Then we used the CD to load into the blu-ray and updated it's firmware to handle some newer movies we had purchased. It now is able to play the problematic movies. The samsung site has instructions for doing this. Good luck.

Yes you have to use the recommended Uverse codes, and follow the directions to enter the code. Hold the tv button down, on the Uverse remote, then with it stil held down add the OK button, let go of both, then you will see the lights at the top of Uverse remote light up, it is then ready to accept the code, it will be a four digit code, Go to email@example.com, and look under TV, then programming the remote is there. Put remote Code in the att search box if you can't find it.

Just need to verify if your trying to play a Bluray Disc or regular DVD?
If Bluray Disc:
All you need to do is to check on the FW version of you BD player. Go to Set-up > System > System Information. SW will be the FW version info. Please be informed that the latest FW version is v2.12. If it will not resolved the concern, try to verify if its happening to all of your Bluray Disc.
