Question about BenQ Office Equipment & Supplies
*When I say "powers down", I mean the whole power down procedure like normal. The lamp turns off, fans run to cool it down, etc. So I'm thinking it's not a power supply issue. When this first started happening, I thought it was just a clogged air filter. Come to find out, it's a "filter-free" projector, so I just used some canned air to blow out the air intakes as best I could until no more dust came out. Started it up. Same problem. So when that didn't work, I ordered a replacement lamp, thinking surely that was the issue. No dice. What else could it be?
The image is flicker, the light is twinkling, after seconds or minutes ,the projector power off.
1,the color starts to go out, it become the white and black, the image color is disappear.
2,then,the projector running off after only a few minutes,
it is a general issue:the inductor need to be cleaned
Use a cotton swab moistened with alcohol to clean the inductor.
the inductor (Sensing element),is near to the Color Wheel.
the industor : is a black little element,as little as 3 sesame seeds

SOURCE: Resetting the air filter timer
If you do not have a remote here is how to reset the filter time. Use the "Menu" bottun to get the "easy menu" to display. Push the down arrow until you get to "Filter Time," then push and hold the RIGHT arrow to reset the filter time. DO NOT try to reset using the "Reset" option on the easy menu, it will not work.

since it has worked 1200 hours or even more since u have been resetting the counter! just change the lamp, resetting the counter does not make the lamp work or not work , it is only a reminder for the user to change the bulb when it should be & that u have some balance hours left to procure a new lamp!
if the brightness is adequate, then it is a ballast problem & not lamp problem!
buy a new lamp as u will anyway need to , fit it & it may solve ur problems permanently!
