I had that problem once and I found that it quit spinning on the original or the ordinary cycle but then if I flipped it to permanent press or something else one of the other cycles it would spin on there you could try that see if it works .

For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...

FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.

PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.

If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.

Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.

If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.

Thanks for using FixYa - a 4 THUMBS rating is appreciated for answering your FREE question)(*&^%

Sounds like what happened to ours. you need a belt. The belt is probably broken. Does it agitate at all? If not, it's definately the belt & if you are not handy: be ready to pay a repair man about $150. Plus parts.

This would be a major undertaking and requires special tools. Your washer has a "Clean Tub" cycle which you should use instead, as instructed, with a special purpose detergent such as (many alternatives are available)

You may need to do this twice over if the washer has not so been treated for a while.

If you are saying you have done this and it did not succeed, seek specialist advice from Samsung support.

Fitting a motherboard to my Samsung WA13V5.There is a terminal under the digital display that does not have a visible matching plug. The motherboard part number is DC92-00278L.

The controller may be applicable to a number of models, depending upon how it is configured. Your washing machine may not use that terminal.

Washer won't agitate or spin

Hello there and welcome to fixya
there are several things that you will need to check first ok please verrify the following
It doesn't pump or spin
If it doesn't pump water out or spin, check to see if the motor is running, then proceed as follows:
If the motor is running, your washer probably has a frozen pump pulley or a broken pump belt. To check the pulley, remove the pump from the washer and try to rotate the pulley manually. If it doesn't turn freely--if it's frozen or stiff--replace it. If the pump belt is broken or looks quite worn, replace it--but be sure to check the pump pulley before you change the belt.
If the motor isn't running, the lid switch may be defective. If so, the washing machine can't spin and may not function at all. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washing machine to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it.
It pumps, but doesn't spin
If your washer pumps out the water but doesn't spin, check these:
The lid switch may be defective. If it is, the washing machine doesn't spin. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washing machine to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it.
