Question about Dishwashers
Not a repairman per-say but just try unplugging it for a half hour or a little longer if a half doesn't work. The electronic boards will hold some power for a little while, that's why I said do it for a while and maybe longer. Hey worth a shot to start with. Okay. Ben

SOURCE: Kitchen Aid dishwasher has no
Welcome to FixYa.
Based on your brief description, I'd suggest you likely have a faulty thermal fuse in the control board as you alluded to, but it is not resettable unfortunately.
It's pretty easy to replace or to check, I've attached a link below to change the fuse, but you can also use the link to access the thermal fuse to check it.
With the aid of an ohm meter, remove one wire and measure across the two contacts and it should show continuity, otherwise it's open and therefore no good.
The part is available at most brick & mortar part places or on-line at vendors such as "repairclinic.com" or searspartsdirect.com" to name a couple. Part number 8193762...looks like this image and retails for about $15-$20USD based on the model you provided.
This is the youtube link to help with the repair "how to".
Let me know how you make out or if you require any further assistance and I'll try to help in any manner I can. Good luck.
Thank you for choosing FixYa.

Hello, welcome to FixYa.
I understand by reading your post which indicates it is a kitchen aid dishwasher mod kuds01flss6 you appear to have a concern with no power to the control, correct ?
The one thing I'd suggest is the thermal fuse, typically the symptom you've described is associated with a bad thermal fuse. (part #8193762)
Here's a helpful link below to a video from "repairclinic.com" to assist in changing (or simply checking it as shown in the second link) the fuse kit...it generalizes on most Whirlpool built dishwasher's such as yours, but if slightly different it is essentially the same.
I'll watch for your reply and try and help going forward. Hopefully this will provide you with the solution you seek, but please keep me posted if not.
...If so, please take a moment to rate the assistance provided for you here today. Good luck and thank you for choosing FixYa.
