Hi kgrema! I will be glad to assist you in this issue,
Usually all you have to do is initialize hard disk even if you do not have one. Just turn off the printer. Turn the printer back on and when the memory starts to count hold down the menu key until all three lights come on. When all three lights are on solid release the menu button and press the arrow back button and initialize disk should appear in the menu. Just hit the check mark button again and it should take care of the problem.

Here is the link just incase it does not solve the issue.

Hello !

From HP Support:
68.X PERMANENT STORAGE WRITE FAIL To continue press (Select) Description A nonvolatile storage device is failing to write. Pressing the Select (check) button should clear the message. Printing can continue, but behave unexpected in response to the changed settings. Another suggestion:
Turn off the printer. Turn the printer back on and when the memory starts to count, hold down the Menu key until all three lights come on. When all three lights are on solid, release the Menu button and press the arrow back button (<) and the initialize disk should appear in the menu. Just hit the Select check mark button again and it should take care of the problem.

Hope these suggestions help.

Printer hp laserjet 2420 error 41.2 dan error 68.2

Hi,

The 41.2 printer error means beam detect misprint error. To resolve this try the ff:

  1. Press c00099410.jpg (Select). The page containing the error automatically reprints if jam recovery is enabled.
  2. Turn the printer power off, and then turn on the printer power.
  3. If the message persists, click here to access the HP support Web site at http://www.hp.com/support/lj2300 ,
The error 68 regardless what number follows after it is about Storage Error. One or more printer settings saved to storage device x are invalid and have been reset to factor defaults. To resolve this:

Press c00099410.jpg (Select) to clear the error and continue printing. Printing can continue, but unexpected behavior might be experienced because an error occurred in permanent storage.

Hope this helps.
