If you have Airtel or Tata Docomo as your mobile provider, we have confirmed reports of successfully using WhatsApp with a specific wireless access point configuration:
  1. Go to Settings > Configuration > [Preferred Access Point] > Select Mobile Office.
  2. Go to Settings > Configuration > [Default config. settings] > Delete the configuration settings.
  3. Reboot your phone.

Settings date& times uncheck use network time and date. Then go to the time zone list Pacific, central, Easter, etc choose yours then you can set the time your self. Just m sure that you put the correct time zone for the country, state you live. Etc

Call your mobile service provider and ask them for the unlock code and directions for entering it into your phone. If you have satisfied the term of your contract, they should give you this information, otherwise they may not. They may need to recoup the cost of your phone over the term of the contract so they will not unlock it before then, allowing you to transfer your service to another provider, unless you pay a termination fee. That's why they locked it in the first place.

Depending on what you mean by pin code? Giving a pin code to allow access to your device is risky or if you mean setting a pin code which can be simply done on most devices by going into settings on your device.

I hard reset is the only way. There is no magic password, or some secret way in.

If it mentions a PUK Code or a SIM Lock, the telco that owns the phone has locked it and only they can give you the code to the RSA 128bit lock.
