You can't. You buy left handed or right handed when you purchase. The easy way is to turn the rod over. Or, why not remove all the line and turn it round so the front holding lug is now the back holding lug, then rewind the line.

Finding reliable reviews can often be difficult, but it is definitely possible. Some things I would recommend include:

  • Checking Fishing Websites
In my time, I've bought a lot of equipment online and I often find blogs and review style posts that help to point me in the right direction. There are a lot of fishing sites out there to choose from. For information about gear and accessories, I often use

  • Checking Amazon Listings
It's also a good idea to check Amazon reviews before purchasing a product. You can filter the reviews by good and bad. This can be a good way to find out what most customers liked and disliked about the products. It's always a good idea to check the bad reviews, as the negatives of the product might not always apply to you.

  • Asking People
Other fishermen can often give the best recommendations. When you got to the lake, or wherever you like to fish, don't be afraid to ask the people there about the products they use.
