I guess to start you might mention why you did a factory reset. It sounds like you did it because of a problem. I suspect corrupt boot software.

I think you have to figure out that where the eBooks come from and what the type is of it's DRM.
For example you can remove Kindle DRM from your Kindle eBooks but you can't remove them from your Adobe eBooks.
So can you tell me what's the software you are using?
In my opinion, you'd better install the best converter ePUBee Pro which supports all the kinds of DRM.

Hi Elizabeth.
Problems charging Android tablets usually stem from either the charger or the charging port itself. If you notice your tablet isn't charging, set it to Air plane Mode and reduce the brightness to extend the battery life while you work to solve the problem. Back up your files while you can, in case the problem can't be solved at home.
Sometimes the problem is with the charging port of the tablet itself. Examine it to see whether it's bent or misshapen. The connector on the charging cable needs to be able to fit well, so that all the pins on the charger are correctly attached to those on the port. If your port is damaged, it may need to be fixed or the entire unit may need to be replaced. You should also check the connector on the charging cable to make sure that port is correctly shaped and not damaged.
Sometimes using an incorrect power adaptor can prevent a tablet from charging. Look at both the base of the adaptor that plugs into an outlet and the cable itself. Very long extension micro USB cables, for example, charge more slowly than shorter OEM cables. Check the manual that came with your tablet to see what type of charger you need. If you're charging the tablet from a computer USB port, it may prevent the tablet from charging correctly. Use a wall adaptor and see if it fixes the problem.

The only thing you can try if Amazon tracks an app is to make sure device it's installed on is turned off or disconnected from the internet. Then try installing on another device. If it lets you then you can't have both devices connected to the internet at the same time. If it doesn't allow you to install on another device when the first device is not connected to the internet, you're out of luck.

Step 1 Press the "Power" key to wake the Kindle from Sleep mode. The Password prompt displays.
Step 2 Type your best guess at the password into the Password input box. Retype password guesses a total of four times. After the fourth incorrect password entry, the Reset dialog box opens asking if you would like to reset the Kindle Fire.
Step 3 Tap "OK Reset" to reset the device to original factory settings.
Connect the Kindle Fire to a wireless network and re-register the device with your Amazon account.
  • Tap the "Show" option in the Password dialog box to display the password characters as you type.
  • Visit the Reset Password page to reset your password (see Resources).

  • Information provided in this article applies to the 1st generation Kindle Fire. Instructions may vary slightly or significantly for other models of the Kindle Fire.
