Carrier Computers & Internet - Recent Questions, Troubleshooting & Support

Usually you just turn the router off, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on. If you have a modem, do the same to it. If your wifi isn't turned on on your phone, TV or computer, you may need to turn it on too.

Sounds like the reversing valve is the problem
The reversing valve is located near the compressor
It has four copper tubes coming from it
On this valve there is a solenoid which makes the valve open or close
You can check this by placing a strong magnet on it while the system is running which will activate or de activate the heating
You should hear a swoshing sound if it's working properly each time you remove the magnet if this doesn't happen it will need to be replaced by a licensed refrigeration technician if it does work you may have a gas leak which will require a friggy as well

is this another form of social hacking? Shouldn't you contact the commercial provider (Wide Bank?) and not some random people on the internet??

Not my area of expertise Cedric.

Just wanted to state, someone hooked that replacement circuit board up, wrong.
Or the thermostat wires aren't hooked up right.

Best suggestion here is you repost this question.

Use a fiber spicer. They are very expensive ($15-20K), but fairly easy to use. 25 pair can be done in a hour or so. Maybe you can rent one?

Outsource out the work. This would a logical solution, since I imagine the contractors are bonded and are liable?

The pin out is the usual RS-232 (25-Pin TL1 or 9 Pin TL1). If they are not working, check if they got disabled.
You can find the documentation on It also describes how to handle the xmodem.

One of the cause of water dripping in the indoor is restricted drainage. To Identify if your drainage is restricted.
- Turn "off " the circuit breaker and take out the face cover of the unit.
- Turn "on" the circuit breaker and start the unit, wait until the unit drips.
- When the unit dripped check the drain pan if overflowed with water.
- If the drain pan is full of water you need to flush the drainage with water to remove the restriction. If the pressure of water in your area is high you can use your garden hose to flush the drainage.

Another is dirty evaporator fins (icing), dirty drain pan, broken drain pan or incorrect installation.
