Sorry but due to the lack of a small algorithm that will stop it happening, the site owner, or who ever, don't seem to be bothered to make that simple fix.

As an Expert on FixYa you are earning points as you are answering questions.
Each question on the site worth points: newer questions worth 3 points and older 1 point.
Experts with 0-99 points are level 1 experts, which means that they can view newer questions.
Experts with 100-999 points are level 2 and can view newer question and also questions that level 1 experts were not able to answer and skipped.
Level 3 experts with 1000 and up points can view all types of questions.

The more questions you answer the more chances you have to appear on our Leaderboard

The Leaderboard presents the top experts per week which means that not only top experts can appear on it but also new and enthusiastic experts who answered many questions in a specific week.

the problem is this website hasnt got any moderators that i know of. also spammers change names almost daily meaning any doof can have many accounts with fake e mail addresses. i suggested to the so called fixya team that every account has a phone number and legit e mail connected to it so it can be verified and no more anonymous users either. i had no response whatsoever from them... i assume the current major spammer is really taking this site down many times a day with all the trash thats posted....wait and see how it goes is all we can do now..

Hi 03mazda6, welcome to Fixya! Glad to hear that you're interested in providing Premium Phone Support. In order to apply to provide Phone Support, you must first earn at least one Category Expert Badge. You do that by answering at least 50 free, unsolved problems in a given category, receiving at least 5 ratings on those solutions, and maintaining at least an 80% average asker rating on those solutions. There's a module on the right of your Answer Questions page that will help you track your progress towards new Badges. Category Expert Badges you've earned will appear at the top of that module, as well as on the left of your My Profile page. Once you have earned a Category Expertise Badge, you will be able to apply to provide Phone Support via the banner advertising it on your Answer Questions page. You will need a US phone number to apply. FixYa is currently doing a major overhaul on Phone Support, to introduce some key features our Experts requested. While we're working on these changes, we will not be doing Phone Support interviews or approving new Experts. However, as soon as the changes are complete, hopefully within the month, we will immediately start approving new Experts for the system.
