Sounds to me like your not getting enough fuel change fuel filter and tak gas out of tank and clean it out a few times as the screen in the tank may be clogged also if you have an electronic fuel pump make sure it is working properly

are you getting anything at all?.....you could check your ground wire(s) to make sure they have good contact on the bare frame metal

First, clean and set the carb.. replace the air filter, install a new spark plug after you have the carb v cleaned and set. Check to make sure your tank/petcock is not stopped up and gad flows freely to the carb, Do this and repost.

You need the special tool... it is designed to prevent damage to anything else and get it off quickly, Do your self a favor, get one or take it to the dealer and pay them to pull it.. if you break something.. OUCH,,, all that stuff is VERY EXPENSIVE!!
