Bottom out the mixture screw and then turn it out about 2 turns, then fine tune it for best idle.

Do I take it the engine is already stripped to establish the fault. I've owned several Honda's and never seen this fault. If its in bits a good motorcycle engine shop could do it and recut the seat but only a search of parts books would tell you if Honda used a motorcycle head. Saying that, Honda do appear to use modified bike engines to power quads. New crank cases built onto a previous barrel and head.Call a Honda specialist or a quad shop who may have already worked it out for themselves. Check out quad forums as well?

Be sure the plug at the rear of the engine ic properly attached and clean. It gets knocked off easily.

take the choke out of the carb using a 14mm wrench. The choke is a plunger held into the front of the carb by a plastic nut. Lubricate it and put it back. Be careful not to overtighten the plastic nut.

fuel line plugged, carb needs cleaning, bad gas

I assume it a honda with auto trans,,,, if so needs new oil pump,,, thats what makes tthe trans work it supplies the oil to the trans so it can make presure to work

starter is probly bad and shorting out

out of gas, clogged petcock, fuel filter or stuck carb float. assuming you're getting a spark still of course. that's a whole other can of worms

take off the horn unit power it direct if it works its ok, if not replace, next step wire a small bulb into the horn wires and press the button if it lights the switch is ok, if you have a circuit tester put one end on the battery ground and check for power in the horn wires if their is power there put the lead on battery positive and press the horn button if there is no power their the switch or wiring is faulty

It seems that the clutch is not disengaging may need a adjustment unless it is hydro drive then I am stumped.
