I originally let the atv set to long and the carb clogged up. I installed fresh gas and a new air filter and a new carb and a new pet cock on fuel tank and all are oem parts. the atv will crank and run fine for about 10 minutes but then will sputter and quit. If i let set for an 30 minutes or longer it will crank and run finr for about 15 minutes and it dies again. it appears it will just keep repeatin this process. do you have any ideas how to remedy this problem.
Check the air cleaner and any ductwork for blockage. (Mouse nest?)
Inspect the fuel system. If the fuel line is out of place and too close to the exhaust or cylinder head, the fuel may be boiling inside the line so you don't get proper flow to the carburetor (this is one possible cause of vapor lock).
Is the choke actuator part of the new carburetor? Verify that the choke is opening when the engine warms up. If it is an automatic choke, inspect the vacuum line and thermostat controlling it. Try removing the vacuum line from the choke actuator and plugging it when the engine is warmed up, then see if the engine keeps running. If it does, the actuator diaphragm leaks when the choke is open.
Check the exhaust pipe for blockage.
If the engine has an EGR system or PCV valve, check those for proper operation. If carbon deposits cause abnormal operation of the EGR valve, the engine will kill when the valve opens too much (about the time the engine is warmed up).
If everything else is good, check the exhaust manifold for blockage by carbon deposits.

When you fuel up, try not to aerate the fuel. Let the nozzle dump the fuel over the hump in the tankto avoid getting it all aired up. Good Luck.

Some articles I have read suggest removing the stock auto-choke carb and replacing it with a Honda CT70 Carb. Check with a local shop to verify, I do not own either and am just passing along the info.
Another solution suggested by 'OneRide': Try it with the gas cap off. The tank vent might be plugged. Possibly plugged fuel filter. Are you using the choke correctly?
This seems to be a very common problem and no 'one' solution to fix it.

I would follow the fuel line all the way check the filter it should be inline and check the pump as well i would say its one of them two.
