Something is shorting to earth on the brake lights.
Get a pack of fuses.
Remove left side bulb. Brake, does is blow the fuse?
Remove right side bulb. Brake, does it blow the fuse?
If yes to the above, it is the light fitting or wiring rubbed through to that light.
If no, it is the switch or wiring to the switch on the brake pedal.
It sounds like it needs to be adjusted or something in the transmission stripped, have you checked the rear axle and bearings, if that is the issue i think yo can get a axle and bearings for$250-$275
Sounds like you have ball joint or steering linkage problems..have some one set on the seat and make hard turns right and left while you watch for excessive movement " linkage or ball joint slap " before the wheels actually turn..or jack the front end up one side at a time and with the steering wheel strapped in place"bungee chord " move each wheel up and down and left to right..find the excess movement and go from there..good luck
i would assume your rear final drives turned to a pile of scrap iron. you will only have front wheel drive and it will sound like a rock tumbler coming from the back when you take off. most likely $1000 - $1500 to repair. then tell the kids allowed to drive it to stop revving it up before they put into gear its cool but it breaks stuff lol hope this helps
First is the engine Diesel or Gas?
if it is a diesel engine it has almost got to be a compression or fuel problem if it is a Gas engine it can be a valve adjustment, fuel, compression, or spark problem
