No lights on the AWD switch, nor does it engage. There are only two things going into the speedo, one red and one brown wire wrapped together, and the cable for hours/speed. Any idea how to bypass speedo and get power to the AWD switch directly?

If I remember right it does the little black box (not the CDI box) the 330 I replaced the control box on once i replaced the box the speedo did light up again been along time ago but I think if you repalce the control box it will fix your problem
awd will only engage in reverse if override switch on left handlebar is pressed will also skip if too much throttle is applied without override button engagement
