The crankcase is filled with fuel from a leaking carburetor float (would be LOTSSSSS of smoke) OR Bad crankcase seal and its sucking in air, bad reed cage area seal, exhaust plugged up!

Why my won't my 2008 Yamaha Rhino 700 start. Has good battery. Cranks over. No codes. Good spark.

If you are only getting 65lbs of compression, remedying that would be my next move!! .. I have seen some run as low as 85lbs..run very poor too.. but never at 65lbs. You should let the engine turn over for about 5 seconds to get compression level.

My 2005 Yamaha Blaster will crank and idle for 1/2 hour or a little more then it will just stalls try and restart it will not start it appears that after it cools down it will start up again

Check that the breather in the fuel cap is still working. The breather has a hose with a one way valve.
You should be able to blow air in but not out. I hope that you are moving during that 1/2 hour as these motors require air flow for cooling.

2012 suzuki ltz 400z Limited edition. when in reverse sometimes it pops, and has no power. also sooty unburned gas smell, won't even spin tires in dirt. Seems like starving for fuel, but is full. sometimes...

I would check the air filter and then spark plug and then do a carb clean , might also pay to check fuel filters inline and in tank good luck hope you get it sorted

2005 Honda 350 trxtm 4 wheeler

hi, sounds like a stuck float in your carb. Try tapping the carb briskly! sounds like gas is slowly dripping in the bowl overnight and you burn it the next day. I would take the bowl off and see how much gas pours out. It should come out like a light stream of pee. Could be cloged fuel filter or a gumed up or broken float, carb rebuild kits are cheap.
Good Luck!

My 05 Yamaha Grizzly 660 will not start. In my limited troublshooting practice I looked at FUEL, FIRE and AIR. Here is the fault, the engine will not start. I checked wires/fuses, plugs, fuel lines and air...

Sounds like you have a stuck float needle in the carbs (2). Usually after a few days with gas in the carb they will free up, you could 'knock' on the carbs with the plastic end of a screwdriver to help free them up. If not, turn off fuel, drain the carbs and fill them with carb cleaner for 24 hours. Redrain, attach fuel lines and turn the gas back on. If still no start it's time for a rebuild...
