I have an electric Razor Dirt Quad. It ran perfectly until it rained, now nothing. I replaced the control module and batteries. It turns on but 'low power' light flashes and it does not run what next?

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved from Cars and Trucks.

Get out your multimeter and check the TOTAL voltage. You should have 24 volts or 36 volts depending on model. If you don't, take them all of and charge each one on a car charger set at 2 amps. Clean all the battery connectors with a wire brush and also the connectors. Smear them with Vaseline. Also make sure you have the batteries wired in correctly. If don incorrectly, you may be running on 12 volts!

4x4 switch no power fuse good on a 2014 midsize Polaris 800 ranger

If you used a test light to make sure you have no 12 volts to the fuse you have to check the relays near the battery,. The only other spot you can check is the switch it self for 12 volts.. Good luck.

Yamaha 450 Kodiak battery not charging, new battery, volt meter not showing any voltage going to the battery

Hi Brian, get a digital volt meter and start the ATV measure the voltage at the battery or at the alternator it should read around 14 volts when charging, if it reads 12 volts the charging system is not working, check or a blown fuse or broken wire, if you can access the alternator directly measure at that point. It takes 14 volt output from the alternator to charge a 12 volt battery

2004 polaris ranger battery not staying charged when operating but when engine is off battery not affected cutting out and dying what could be the problem?

battery is being drained as it operates and not taking charge

check tightness and clean both terminals and cables

how old is the battery
may have a dead cell ..wont take charge

check the charging input to the battery with a volt meter
has to be above 12 volts
if lower or equal to 12 volts ...no good
the charging stator inside the engine needs testing or repair or replace

stator is another word for an alternator or a generator

why it plays up
best guess the ATV if a 12 volts system wont run on 11 volts

Honda rancher AT makes click noise and will not start except manual???

Actually it sounds like the solenoid is working fine. The clicking you are hearing is the solenoid when it's energized by you turning the ignition key and giving it power from the battery. I would trouble shoot the starter. Start by checking if there is 12 volts at the terminal on the starter. If you're getting 12 volts there, your starter needs to be replaced or rebuilt.
Good luck

Kawasaki problem

Check fuses first, then check for broken wire with ohm meter to check for loss of continuity. Check port with ohm meter also.

2012 rzr4 800 will the stator charge at all if its bad

A typical, fully charged & unloaded 12 volt lead acid battery should indicate about 12.6 V. Check the voltage / percent charge chart below:

Volts - Charge
11.7 - 10%
11.9 - 20%
12.1 - 30%
12.25 - 40%
12.35 - 50%
12.45 - 60%
12.5 - 70%
12.6 - 100

A fully charged that is only about 12V indicates a a problem with the battery - dead / shorted cells, etc. You can always remove the battery and have it tested at Autozone or similar auto parts stores if you're unsure. From the info you've provided - my guess is that the battery is "done"

I hope this was helpful - good luck!
