2011 Polaris Sportsman 550 EFI, power steering quit working..and the battery is draining overnight. All fuses are good. I don't know if relays are good or not. Thank you for your time and help

Hi, it sounds like the electric steering pump has a fault and is draining the battery. Best get the steering pump checked or replaced.

Check fuses and wiring connections also the fan could have burnt out

SOURCE: I just rolled my 2000 polaris sportsman 500 and my handle bar area took all the impact...can anyone tell me if the steering stem has an original curve to it or did it bend on impact?

SOURCE: Our Polaris Sportsman 500 battery died. We tried to pull start it and it jerked and pulled out of my hands. Now we can't pull it at all. Seems stuck at a high compression. Any help?

maybe the battery is ok but the problem is a lock in the engine --hydraulic lock, crank seizure ,bent conrod
bent valve hitting on piston top

SOURCE: I have a 2013 sportsman Polaris 500. My atv stalled out while riding today and no lights or nothing will come back on. The battery is not dead either. And I checked the fuses?

These machines depend on a good ground. Make sure your ground connections are all clean and tight.... especially the ground wire from the battery to the frame. I recommend removing the battery terminal wires and cleaning the terminals... Also the negative cable that bolts to the frame... remove the bolt and sand the terminal that bolts to the frame. Check for in-line fuses... There is one in-line fuse near the battery!

SOURCE: 2014 polaris outlaw 50, new battery and starter relay. Relay still just clicks. Also have no power to the starter. Any ideas?

I have a 2012 Polaris sportsman 850 efi The quad was flipped and now it will not start it acts like there is no power to it the battery test good and is hooked up but no lights or anything comes on.

I'd take apart the cvt and look at the springs in the centrifugal clutch.

Hi hi my Polaris 2015 sportsman EFI the speedometer cluster quit working couple months ago now I put a brand-new battery in it and overnight the battery Goes dead any ideas

You have an open draw on the battery... you have mixed up some wires.... make sure you have them to their correct respective + and - terminals.... the + side also goes to the solenoid,,, the - to ground(frame)

It's your relay switch, it's bad, it should be located up inside right side wheel well

How do I get a 2011 polaris sportsman 550 efi wiring diagram?

check key switch for voltage coming in and out of it with a test light .if you have voltage in and out. go to fuse block check it should have 4 fuses check contacts . disconnect battery clean them with small flat driver .commen problem .with all fuses out. key on, test contact for power atleast 3 should have power one should have power when starter button is applied make sure all contacts are making contact to posts on fuses.
