The ATV needs maintenance. If you have done the standard maintenance for the number of hours of use, then the maintenance counter should be reset. This may depend on the model of your ATV, check your documentation. For an example, see the manual for the 700 Honda ATV: https://cdn.powersports.honda.com/documentum/MWOM/ml.remawmom.2016_31hl3620_sxs700m2_m4.pdf . Page 14 shows the maintenance minder light and the reset for this model. Page 93 starts the section on the needed maintenance. On this ATV, there are three slightly different maintenance routines. One is the initial maintenance (20 hours) then two routine lifetime that will alternate over the use of the ATV.
Go to the manufacturer's website and enter your model number and click on "Support" and there should be a FAQ's, Owners Manual or other support options for you. Otherwise the website may have a "Contact" phone number to call or a way to Chat online.
hi.
this is all i can find on the internet about it. Where to find serial number on Polaris Ranger?
Whenever corresponding about a Polaris RANGER utility vehicle, be sure to refer to the vehicle identification number (VIN) and the engine model number and serial number. The VIN can be found stamped on the lower frame rail on the front LH side of the vehicle (see Figure 1-1).
Carrie The VIN # can be found on the left front frame rail behind the wheel according to the link below.
