Sounds like the a component of the ignition system is defective, as to which part you will need to determine that by testing. It can be scanned for codes by the dealer to help in diagnosing.

The Machine is new, do you have a warranty? Has the machine been sitting for a while? If so, a professional carb/fuel system cleaning and a new spark plug should take care of it.
I WOULD take it o the dealer and find out what the code means!!
