Hey Timothy,
First, make sure the kill switch is not on "kill"
An internal combustion engine needs three things to run:
1. A properly timed spark - 2. delivery of a proper air/fuel ratio - 3. adequate compression >120PSI. (make sure air filter is clean and treated)
NOW -
1. Install a new, correct, spark plug. - MAKE SURE it firing.
2. Make sure you are getting fuel to the carburetor.
3. Make sure you are getting fuel THROUGH the carburetor.
4. Make sure you have compression. 120psi+
One (or more) of these 3 requirements is NOT happening.. eliminate one at a time!!
