Battery may be too weak to activate starter. Have you put it on a battery charger? Also--check the wires from the coil to the starter.


If you turn on the switch and run a wire from the positive battery terminal to the coil (hot side) and the starter engages you have a bad wire between the switch and starter.

Jets are replaceable but not really adjustable.You can adjust the air screw,start at a turn and a half out.
