My 2004 polaris sportsman 700 will shut of while riding, nothing will work but the fan, Then a few minutes later it will start again. Then after a while it does it again and again. Please Help!!
I have a 2004 700 carb that shut off while riding and then would start up 3-5 minutes later after many nights working on it Ifinally figured it out no help from any dealer. There are 2 circuit breakers under the front rack mine were very rusted, Replaced both never had the problem again. My situation was always only when the lights were on.

I have the same problem, shutting off while driving. Leave it for a few minutes and it starts again, but could shut off any time. It is more frequent when the lights are on. Any answers????

I opened the pouches and found one horribly corred/rusted circuit breaker. I put in a automotive bolt on breaker with a terminal repair and my problem is gone.
