Why can i not find an after market cdi box for a 2009 polaris sportsman 90. Seems like they have them for everything else

Lousy bulbs or poor voltage regulation (too high voltage will burn out incandescent lamps especially when you factor in all the bumps and vibrations ). Maybe you can special bulbs designed to withstand the conditions presented by your ATV.

that sounds like your clock. engine codes don't go that high.and if it was your clock you must of lost 12 volt power at some point.

black smoke is over fueling--choke on or leaking injector or injector seals
check for blocked air cleaner
