SOURCE: Serpentine Belt and pulley were replaced. Drove
High moisture with cheap belts would be a start. 2nd possibility is you have a bearing in an accesory drying out. Check water pump pully first with the screwdriver methode. Do not place on a moving part!!!

there is a saftey switch on the clutch when u press it down it allows it to crank, the switch could have went out, there is also a little bar that slides into an opening in the top of the clutch that mite have slipped out, or there is something called a diaphram (i think thats what its called) it should be on the transmition with that year model it could have went bad or the wires mite be loose
