Initialize keys. Have all keys for the car with in reach. Get in car and close all doors. Put 1 key in the ignition and turn it to the key on engine off position and quickly turn it off and remove the key. With in 5 seconds press and hold the unlock button while pressing the lock button 3 times, after the 3rd press release the unlock button. If successful the door locks will lock then unlock. For the remaining keys you do not need to cycle the ignition just press the buttons as mentioned before.

Hi, I have a bmw aswell, when this happens it is useally that there is a split or crack in the air intake rubber boots, so check those first, and any vacuum pipes that go to the intake, and I dont know how carefull you was when putting the manifold on that a gasket did not seat properly,if you have no problems with all the above check the diser valve is working ok, hope this was some help,all the best.

You need a Trailer Light Power Module - Uhaul, or anywhere that sells hitches and accessories. The module will power the lights directly from the battery - it still hooks into your car's lighting system, but only for sensing purposes, it doesn't put an extra load on the lighting system.

Faulty relay

The Clunk could be many things so a bit more detective work is needed. When Exactly does it 'Clunk''? is it any of the following?-As you 'rev' the engine in neutral?-As you put it in gear?-As you change gear?-As you start to pull away from a stop?-As you apply the Brakes?-As you release the park brake?-As you turn into tighter corners and junctions?Please comment below with more information and I'll see if I can help you more.

Sonds like the lift motor has stopped working.

If it got too hot the engine may have been damaged. You will need to have a cylinder compression test to make sure the engine is ok. Did the coolant get all over the engine? Some electrical connections may have gotten wet. Make sure it is getting fuel. Spray a little starter fluid into the throttle body.

This sounds like a fuel starvation issue. It runs for a second or two on easy start as that is what is burning as fuel. Do you have any warnig lights on the dash? Have you had the vehicle scanned for trouble codes? If you have to pay for the scan get prices at 4 or 5 different places as costs can be VERY different. Comment below with any Trouble Codes and I'll try to help you more. A broken timing chain should only affect the mechanical timing. If it runs and sounds OK when you use the easy start the chain should be set correctly.

It is a modern BMW and crammed full of electronics, modules and sensors talking to each other over a Communication Network. For issues like this you need a local auto electrician and a pro grade scan tool computer to check for DTCs and Communication codes. The diagnostics provide the fix and the scan tool is bi-directional to allow for programming of modules. There is a second pump but it is mostly to provide heat to the cabin heater. It is mounted under the air filter assembly. To check it try this. Turn the ignition key to the 'On' position. With your feet OFF the pedals press the start button. This turns on the pump but not the engine. Turn the heat to Max and the fan to Low. Put you head near the air filter box and listen. If you can't hear the pump try this. Using an extra long screwdriver or a long thin metal rod rest one end on the pump and the other to your ear. You should be able to hear the pump running. *NOTE* It may be louder than you think. just a thought is the radio a kenwood if it is ther is yor problam . bmw dashes get verry hot and kenwoods dont like the heat i have had this problem more than once

Tire and rim? The rim may be different and hitting on the caliper. Slowly loosen the tire until it moves, then inspect the area of contact to see why it is binding.

Do you mean it won't automatically switch off after you turn, or do you mean it stays on, either flashing or just permanently on? If it's the 1st one "doesn't automatically switch off after turning" it sounds like your turn signal stalk is broken & needs replacing. If it's a case of the light just continuing to flash or stay on well then it could still be your signal stalk or the relay which times the lights to flash on & off. All these bits can be purchased for little money on eBay
