Fuel pumps can be tested, they either work, or they don't work. They are tested with a fuel pressure gauge to a testing port on the fuel rail in the engine bay. The other thing to test would be the fuel pump relay to make sure it works every time and also have good continuity. The shop you took it to hasn't touched it yet. It is sat in the shop and they are doing other jobs when they come in that are urgent. It is also 'tire swap over season' if you live somewhere where people have winter tires and summer tires. This can easily be diagnosed by an auto electrician. His professional grade scan tool computer can diagnose all the electrical systems in about 30 minutes. Good ones cost about $5,000 and are out of reach for normal garages. Turn Signal Lamps The TSIG/HAZ fuse in the rear fuse block supplies battery positive voltage to the flasher module. The module is part of the hazard switch assembly. The flasher module has ground at G201. The turn signal lamps may only be activated with the ignition switch in the ON or START position. The IGN-1 fuse in the rear fuse block supplies battery positive voltage to the turn signal switch. When the turn signal switch is placed in either the left or right position, current flows from the turn signal switch assembly to the flasher module. The flasher module then sends an on-off voltage signal to either the left or right turn signals and their instrument cluster (IPC) indicator. When the hazard switch is pressed, the switch contacts are close and the turn signal/hazard flasher module hazard input is grounded. In response to this input, the turn signal/hazard flasher module supplies battery positive voltage in an on and off flashing pattern to all the turn signal lamps. This also activates both turn signal indicators. When a THEFT is occurring, the DIM grounds the turn signal/hazard flasher module hazard input. The left turn signals have ground at G401 and at G402. The right turn signals have ground at G401.

I woukld check the shift cable where it attaches to the actuator lever on top of the transmission. Sounds like it might have come disconnected.

I'm not sure about the trans.problem,but a bad alternator will drain your battery.

If you make a jumper wire and jump the load side of the relay and the fans work, it might be the relay or it might be the control side of the relay not getting the signal from the temperature switch. If you jump the load side and the fans don't work it's either the fan motors or a wiring issue between the relay and the fans.
