I have a 92 Chevrolet truck got the 350 in it. I replaced plug plug wires call distributor cap and rotary button. Sometimes when it's warm it will start but when it gets cold it will not start

Check the coolant temperature sensor. A bad sensor will cause a very rich fuel mixture not allowing it to start.

2002 Chevy Cavalier not getting 12 volts to the fuel pump only getting nine

Your better off finding the cause of the issue. Modern cars have so many sensors and electronics 'bypassing' electrics will become a Huge headache and put a massive dent in your bank account if it goes wrong! Have you had the battery "Load Tested"? This is where they put a heavy voltage drain on it and see how it copes with it. How old is the battery? A battery can still hold 12 volt but be weak when it's got to supply power to high drain parts like the starter motor. Generally batteries are considered 'Old' when they are over 5 years old, especially on bigger and higher mileage engines. The fuel pump relay should get power as soon as you turn the ignition to the second position so it can prime the fuel system before you start the engine. I've posted an answer to your Fuel pressure test question and in the video I've attached he shows you a quick "cheat" to test if it's the relay.

2005 avalanche electrical issues

The first place to start would be to have a qualified repair shop hook up a factory or professional scan tool an check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes stored in the BCM - body control module . The body control module (BCM) performs multiple body control functions. The BCM can control devices directly connected to its outputs based on input information. The BCM evaluates this information and controls certain body control systems by commanding outputs on or off. The BCM control inputs can be: • Sensors and switches that are directly connected to the BCM • Class 2 serial data received from other control modules connected to the class 2 serial data link The BCM is also capable of controlling other vehicle systems that are not directly wired to the BCM. The BCM does this by sending specific messages on the class 2 serial data link. The control module capable of performing the required function will respond to the BCM message. The BCM controls these functions: • Audible warnings--Refer to Audible Warnings Description and Operation in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console. • Automatic door locks--Refer to Power Door Locks Description and Operation in Doors. • Automatic headlamp control--Refer to Exterior Lighting Systems Description and Operation in Lighting Systems. • Interior lighting--Refer to Interior Lighting Systems Description and Operation in Lighting Systems. • Keyless entry (AUO option)--Refer to Keyless Entry System Description and Operation in Keyless Entry. • Passlock theft deterrent--Refer to Vehicle Theft Deterrent (VTD) Description and Operation in Theft Deterrent. • Retained accessory power (RAP)--Refer to Retained Accessory Power (RAP) Description and Operation . Then if no DTC'S , pick one of the systems messing up . Test electrical circuit , using a wiring diagram an a DMM- digital multi-meter . 2004 Chevy Silverado. The Service Airbag light is on, but no error codes?

Question edited for clarity. Question moved to model category. Resetting the airbag light on your Chevy Silverado should be easy to do. Follow this video to watch it being done in a Chevy Silverado. To start with, you will:
  • Put the key into the ignition
  • Turn the key to the "on" position
  • Wait for the airbag light to turn on
  • Wait to continue until the airbag light turns off (around seven seconds)
  • Repeat the same steps twice more
  • Turn on your engine
After you take these steps, your airbag light should turn off. If it doesn't do so, then you should consider taking your vehicle in for diagnostic testing. If the airbag light remains on, it could mean that something in the system is faulty. That could mean the airbag, the computer wiring, or another issue. Oftentimes, when the airbag light comes on unexpectedly, it is because of interference with the switch. Feb 12, 2021

Equinox heated seats not working

It may be because of a bad fuse, so first replace the 20-Amp fuse located in the instrument panel fuse box. If that does not solve the problem, check for: 1. Broken switch connection 2. Broken switch 3. Broken or weak wiring 4. Broken circuit 5. Faulty heating pad If this sounds too overwhelming, it would be best to take your car to the dealership for a quick fix.

I am trying to change the ignition switch in my 91

f
The ignition switch is usually mounted to the steering column and is operated by a linkage rod.
NOTE On column-mounted ignition switches, don't confuse the switch with the lock cylinder and keys. The ignition switch is not normally visible. On some vehicles, the steering column support has to be removed and the column lowered to find the ignition switch. On others, the switch is accessible under the dash.

The ignition switch is operated by the key switch. Courtesy of Ford Motor Company. To replace the switch:
  • Remove the ignition switch wiring harness.
  • Unbolt it from its position.
  • Bolt the new switch into position.
  • Attach the witing harness.

Good luck (remember rated this help)
