You may want to buy the rear liftgate Release Switch. From what you described I think you have a short. This part is a common problem. It isn't completely shielded from the weather and over time will fail. You could remove the switch and inspect it for corrosion and operation. For the sake of being professional and straightforward. Electrical failures require diagnostics to definitively know what is wrong. If you have test tools and you are looking for specific information. Please write back, ask away and I'll do my best. Hope this helps. Good luck.

The shift solenoid is located up inside your transmission. You will have to drop the trans oil pan, and then drop the valve body. At this point you will see the solenoid with a wire harness attached to the solenoid. The solenoid is about the size of a fist, and is attached with a few screws. Good Luck Friend.

You have more than one, they are all located in the tailpipe after the exhaust manifold.

My info says rear of engine. Check close to where flywheel would be. The picture that my database shows, there is no orientation, you can't tell what your looking at in the picture.

You didn't say what model but this code is the Transmission Overdrive Solenoid open/shorted. Disconnect the negative battery cable and hold it on the the positive battery terminal for a minute or so then reconnect and see if the code comes back. If it does have the transmission repaired.

sounds like the new coil is faulty. Connect it to power, an ignition lead and a spark plug earthed to the block. When you disconnect the negative, you should get a big, fat blue spark.

There is no reset button, If the fuel system is giving you problems you may need to check codes, if you know the fuel pump doesn't run check the fuse and relay under the hood other wise check the Dark Green/Black wire at the tank wiring harness if there's current there replace the pump. If you just need to move it you can try hitting the tank with something heavy as someone turns the switch to start. If it runs it probably will continue to run but may not restart again until you change the pump. I hope this helps. Take care.

I don't recognize this fault code. Would you tell me how you retrieved this code? Code Readers and scan tools will provide the user with "P" codes. The letter P followed by four numbers. P0300: Random Misfire. There are more than just P codes. Just providing one example. Why did you look up this in the first place? What is wrong or not work? Which system is it that is showing a warning lamp?
