1993 Ford Ranger 4.0. Where does the spark plug gap on it?

It depends on the spark plugs that have been used. Some are pre gapped, some have three preset side electrodes around the edge. The engine coolant temp sensor is mounted into the head so it can get a reading for the coolant in the engine. It is in the head between cylinders 2 and 3. USA car? i'd say yes, use a flash light, (a usa named tool)NO job told at all,Dizzy pulledor pan off pump pull land back, we not guess the job at hand.the Oil Pump Intermediate Shaft For 86-92 Ford Ranger Bronco II 2.9L is super long, and must be indexed firsthere is the SM (service man) warningsDo not force the oil pump if it does not seat readily. The oil pump driveshaft may be misaligned with the distributor or shaft assembly. If the pump is tightened down with the driveshaft misaligned, damage to the pump could occur. To align, rotate the intermediate driveshaft into a new position.and this step 9 warning too. Dizzy planting pagesIf the vane and vane switch stator cannot be aligned by rotating the distributor in the cylinder block, remove the distributor enough to just disengage the distributor gear from the camshaft gear. Rotate the rotor enough to engage the distributor gear on another tooth of the camshaft gear. 1993 ford ranger horn relay

no engine told 2.3,3.0,4.0 , gas or diesel not told seems diesel is 1995 and in South america's only. no vin told. if it has one, (the speed control version yes, and no speed control NO relay. bench test the horn yet or hot wire it in place , actual horn or ground to the horn is bad as all are that old dead horn fuse 8 is first. if blown horn will be dead. I guess speed controls means CRUISE.? the steering wheel has cruise there is a relay if not , such relay is there. proof below. (solid proof) left side is cruise right is non cruise opted car. Service manual drawing. ranger-undefined-undefined-0.jpg no engine told and matters. wiring always does on different opted engines. here is speed control words.? service manual SM. Modern name is ISC "On vehicles equipped, the DC motor/idle speed control actuator is mounted to the fuel charging assembly. This component controls the idle speed, including such functions as high cam rpm, anti-diesel shut off, dashpot and pre-positioning the engine fuel charging assembly for restart. This control actuator is driven by the EEC-IV system, which includes an integral idle tracking switch". bad fuse F8 OR WRONG SIZE USED, AMPS WRONG.,MISSING HORN FUSE IS 20AMPS IIRC. bad slip rings bad horn switch. bad relay if fitted both horns bad. both horns 1 ground are rusty , horns work benched tested GOOD LUCK

2003 Ford Ranger. Someone stole it and busted the ignition. How can I bypass all of the security on it to start it?

You need an auto electrician or an auto locksmith to fix it. You need the chip key and you need to fix the security, not find a way around it. 2006 Ford Ranger 3 litre. I had no spark on 2/3 and massive spark on Cyl 1. Replaced coil pack and now have massive spark coming from all 3 on that bank. What can be the cause from Cylinder 1?

1988 Ford Ranger XLT 4X4. Newly purchased dual fuel tank has an internal fuel pump, an inline pump, a fuel tank selector unit, and what looks like a second fuel tank selector unit (which is leaking).

The black reservoir/fuel tank selector unit you are referring to is the fuel tank switching valve, which is designed to switch between the two fuel tanks in your 1988 Ford Ranger XLT 4X4. This valve is responsible for directing fuel from the selected tank to the fuel pump and engine.
