Dash lights 2012

wow, 2007 and 2012 in one blue box.... or open the glove box, extract operators guide, read that page for that lamp, bingo the name and the cause and what to do. lost the manual they are free at honda. or here. http://justgivemethedamnmanual.com/honda/honda-ridgeline-owners-manua/ page 70, read this.... I can RTM, sure can.... quote VTM-4 lamp (your 4wd?) This indicator normally comes on for a few seconds when you turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position. If it comes on at any other time, there is a problem in the 4WD system. Take the vehicle to your dealer to have it checked. If the indicator blinks while driving, the VTM-4 fluid temperature is too high. Pull to the side of the road when it is safe, shift to Park, and let the engine idle until the indicator goes out. Continuing to drive with the VTM-4 indicator blinking may cause serious damage to the system. (end page70) if really DIY guy? the then the FSM elaborates this to no end. buy the FSM and read that. (most things on most newer cars are anything but simple)

Where is the fuel filter for a 2006 hondarigdeline

Like many modern vehicles, the fuel pump is in the gas tank. Repair (if needed) is not easy but if you are experienced working on cars, get a hold of the factory service manual.

Seat bar not retracting

Typically there are plastic cable pulleys used in the seat retraction system that routinely fail. These have been replaced with metal ones by Honda, and are fairly cheap. Save yourself a ridiculous labor charge and go to www.ridgelineowersclub.com and search for seat - pulley - repair, etc. There are excellent descriptions on how to fix it. It will take about 30-45 min max. Make sure to replace BOTH pulleys for the rear seats. This forum is a priceless resource for Ridgeline owners. Honda Ridgeline Owners Club Forums

How to remove front seats

The seats are simply bolted to the floor. You'll need to remove the track trim pieces to see them. 14mm socket to remove them. The wiring can be disconnected easier once the seat is loose and can be tilted backward.
