not 100% certain if I'm getting right where ur coming from, but, I'll take a shot-- with tensioner set, revolve engine with socket on front pulley bolt...this will of course thrust up any slack in belt as if engine was actually running..round and round once twice, three time, and back to TDC on compression...see if cams are coming up at correct or very close to correct angles at each compression-stroke TDC. If not, trial and error with resetting your tensioner until you have judged it right and have the angles coming up three pears every comp stroke TDC..

The reading either passes or it fails. As long as the connections are good, the only other thing you can do to fix the OBD error is to replace them.

for code p0087 replace the GDI GASOLINE DIRECT INJECTION (HIGH PRESSURE PUMP( the pump is in the top o the engine down the plastic cover- they have two gasoline lines an one electrical connector,and 2 bolts . remove return line, remove the electrical connector, loose the 19mm bolt for the main gasoline line dont move this line, remove bolts of the pump and move it away, when you work with gasoline lines is dangerous (it is at you own risk( THE CODE P0191 IS RELATED FOR FUEL RAIL PRESSURE SENSOR usually appears with p0087. symtoms of bad fuel pump: long cranking time,,erratic idle. not enough power. no start condition= pump is easy to change=

hi, your not going to google a solution to your problem i'm afraid.
u0003 is area network positive open
u0004 is area network positive comm speed low.
in short a can bus fault.

have you checked the can ohms?
have you scoped the can bus?

My friend had a similar problem. When he had it checked, he was told to spray staring fluid on the air filter and it started. So, he was told that if it starts by spraying starting fluid on the air filter, the problem is with the fuel pump. If not, the problem is electrical. So far, my friends starex diesel AT is running smoothly. Hope this will help you. Cheers.
