REAR HATCH WON'T OPEN 08 HSE SPORT
Hello my range rover sport tailgate glass won't open so can anyone give me advice how to fix it and tell me what the problem is exactly if it is a fuse or something. Can you please text me on 07455527235 to tell me how to fix it or what the problem is. Thanks Shayaan
Windshield sprayer won't work on LR3
Check the fuse first - replace if blown
If that does not fix it, pull the tubes off the spray outlets in the hood to see if fluid come out of the hoses when the switch is used, If it does, the problem will be blocked jets - probably with wax.
If nothing comes out of the tubes, you have a failed washer pump OR a fault in the wiring. The latter can be checked with a probe or multimeter. There should be 12+ volts on the positive side. Also check the ground wire with the ohmeter - a common fault
Passenger door wont open
Passenger door has a cover if removed it exposes the manual key insert to open the door with the ignition key
06 range rover sport's steering
It's either the brake rotor that is warped, or the tires are getting out of round and are not rolling evenly when the brakes are applied. Good luck on this repair.
Range rove 2004 is in engine failsafe mode is not starting?
You need an owners manual or access to factorymanuals to find out how many fail safes your vehicle hasExample: Electronic Throttle Control Engine Over Temp Transmission Failsafe Misfire Fail safe to protect converterOnce you have checked for codes which I assume you havedone long ago,you use them as well as trouble charts todiagnose things
While driving my 2004 Range
It depends on what you mean by electronic thermostat wire. I assume you have the L322 Range Rover with the BMW M62 4.4 litre V8 petrol engine. It has a heater in the coolant thermostat which causes the thermostat to open further when the engine gets too hot.. The wiring to this often fails due to coolant leakage into the cable. Disconnecting it will make no difference to the running of the engine. (On mine, it has been disconnected due to corrosion).
Electrical system gone crazy
Hi in my experience this can be caused by a few things
But I would advice checking these 3 first
1.Check alternator output by connecting a multimeter to your battery after starting engine it should read between 14 and 15 volts
2 battery. get it checked see if it's holding a good charge and has good craNking amps.
3 faulty brake switch. it's tucked up behind the brake pedal.(touching the brake peddle stem)
Easy to get access to after you have located it, and it's a simple twist and pop it out with no tools needed.
There are videos on YouTube to help u if u struggle with any of these.
There are other issues like check if there's water in passenger footwell.
Hope this has helped.
2005 Range Rover HSE - Random Radio / CD Problems
I have an 05 hse with the same issue, prought it to an electrical specialist who went in the boot and unkinked the infrared wires from all components, it worked for about a month and a few days ago it started again, when you say you "deoxed" the bluetooth harness....do you mean the nokia brain in the left rear boot or the cell phone dock in the front center console??? I have an appointment with the dealership tommorow and i hope they find the WIRING issue instead of trying to have me buy $5000 in new computers that wont fix the problem, its a common issue in this model with the logic 7 just wish someone who has already cleared this hurdle would post a solution:(...I will keep everyone updated
