A rattling noise is rather worrying, although timing chains don't normally break when you turn off the engine. Loose Belt, sounds like the Serpentine Belt, but if that snapped, the engine would still run. I think you need a tow to the dealership.

Check coolant level . leaking fuel lines while running and stopped, gas tank filler cap , temperature censor ,low oil pressure , crank censor and fuel pump . Could also be the ECU ...

Possible motor mount failure.

Some vehicles have separate flashers for indicators and hazards. Look around for another flasher and try changing it.

It is called Parasitic Draw, one item is being left on and is draining power. Attach an ammeter to the battery. Remove fuses one at a time, keeping an eye on the ammeter. When you pull one fuse, you will see the reading drop a lot. That circuit is the one causing the problem. When you know the fuse, you can check all the things it covers. There will always be some draw because items like the clock and a number of modules are constantly powered. In general terms, you can't find work-arounds for problems like this, you have to fix them. Or, you can take the vehicle to a good auto-electrician.

This code is showing a transmission problem. Your best option is to take the vehicle to a transmission specialist. If you don't know what you are doing gearbox mistakes are VERY expensive to sort out.

1. In the fuse box no.# 1 placed in the engine compartment:
Check fuse no.# 23 - F23 (10A) = Air Conditioning Control Unit.

The "ESP" system helps correct over steer and under steer by breaking the inner or outer wheel as needed to get the car back on a straight path. By pushing the ESP button you are turning it off and will see an illuminated yellow triangle on the instrument cluster. Turning the system off will allow the rear of your car to drift around turns and/or break traction on heavy acceleration.Or having it inoperable then you can not use cruise control. You need to go have the problem diagnosed by a technician to get the system repaired. Or I am sure that you have not turned the system off. But you might double check. I hope that this helps.

I have the same problem on my 2007 Mercedes E350, and cant get an accurate answer from any body, every body tell me different things even Mercedes Dealer. Help me!!!

Your Climate control unit may have to be reset. The reset works as follows: With the key in the ignition and in posistion 2 push both the defrost button and the recirc button (at the same time) for five seconds or untill the led lights in those buttons begin to flash. Wait for 30 seconds or untill the led's stop flashing. Switch off the ignition. Check the evaporator temp sensor and pressure sensor for correct functionality.

Check the fuse's first. If you changed the battery there is a chance you shorted it to ground and may have blown some fuses. Do this first.

You will need to reove the door panel and inspect the lock motor to see if the rod has come off to the door latch or the lock actuator motor is the problem.
