Radio, clock, interior light and central locking not working
This is as a result of a short occurring most likely in the radio harness. It happened me while working on a customers car. In my case checked all fuses and they all appeared fine, both those under the hood/bonnet and those underneath the steering wheel. After studying the workshop electrical schemmatics for the car it appears that the clock, interior lights, central locking receiver and radio permanent live/battery are all on the one line.In effect damage had occurred after the internal fuse panel, therefore all fuses were ok and supplying power across them, but at some point after there was a break in the wire. However you DO NOT need to remove dash and or replace harnesses to rectify.Look at the fuse panel underneath the steering wheel. Slot 18 (bottom RHS) and you will see in raised plastic 'BACK UP'. Inserting a 10A fuse here will restore the interior lights, radio, clock and your central locking. There is a small plastic piece in the way which prevents a fuse going in. Simply use a thin pair of pliers, scissors or a screwdriver (or similar tool) to break this and all pieces of it away until you are able to insert the 10A mini blade fuse.Problem Sorted!(I believe the fact this back up exists is because the designers of electrical system at mitsibushi realised it had shortcomings or this would be a potential problem - and included the back up for such an occurence)Fearghus Quinn(7 years experienced auto electrician & owner of Car Audio company in Perth Western Australia)

How to clean wheel speed sensor in 2008 Mitsubishi galant
4 wheels not one told, bad. RF/LF/RR/LR???????????
we cant guess front or rear. why skip that?
there are 2 parts here.
the sensor and the tone ring(reluctor)
gee these sensor is just removed and cleaned.
even soap and water cleans off dirt.
no magic there.
but the tone rings are known to rust on some cars!
and those are vastly more hard to deal with
is the ABS failing for 1 wheel ,NOT TOLD , scanned ??????
if yes clean it, reset the pcm/bcm brains and
if still ABS fails for same sensor
then the wheel must come OFF.
there.
I will read the car maker TSB recalls on tone rings if faulty now. I SEE NONE !
there are lots of causes. besides 2 parts. sensor /ring
wheel bearings shot.
brake pads shot.
suspension damage to that wheel failing
mixing up tires sizes dead wrong. for car.
the sensors come off with one small bolt.(flange)
all 4 are different sensors do not mix them up
marked LF for left front stamped on that sensor.
they most be gapped correctly
per this
The correct gap is 0.012-0.035 inch
here is the front wheel. exploded view dwg.
the sensor 5 fits to the spindle 15
and the tone ring is behind, #9 bearing hub.
2000 Mitsubishi 3.0l cranks but internittently will not start. Works on Second try
THE Post is not clear at all (sorry I tried to understand it all)
what fails intermittent,?
dead starter?
or always cranks fast but does not start the engine? some times.
and runs for 10 seconds or longer.??? or under 10;/
when dead , for how long is it dead.
does this car have and IMMO lamp and glows wrong and it hates both car keys?
any engine dead is easy to diagnose as it stays dead !
so how long is that, 1min, 1day or only restarts cold?
when dead the scan tool can see all EPA smog monitor status?
it must allow that, and must allow all PID scans ,key on.
all.
or is this some lame $13 useless code reader thing?
the PCM must allow full scanning, not just lack of DTC stored or live DTC errors., for example we can scan the ECT PID and see water temps at any time key on. do you?
IMMO can allow an engine to run for 1 to 10 seconds when IMMO is failing, this is to get car out of danger even if key is dead.
some cars. No to maker uses same rules on IMMO , but sure as shoot'n it immoblizes the engine in all cases up to 10 second later.
if the starter motor does not fail ever, say so first
the best way to find problems is to do the test while it fails.
the immo lamp is covered in the free users guide
lost from the glove box?
How to remove 2 row seats in a 2000 montero mitsubishi
Here are the general steps to remove the 2-row seats from a 2000 Mitsubishi Montero:
1. Fold the seat backs down all the way.
2. Locate the release lever that is usually found on the backside of the seat near the bottom. Pull this lever to release the seat from its mounting.
3. Tilt the seat forward and locate the bolt that secures the seat to the floor. Use a socket wrench to remove the bolt.
4. Pull the seat straight up and out of the car.
Repeat these steps for each of the 2-row seats you want to remove. It's important to follow proper safety procedures when removing seats from a vehicle. Make sure to wear gloves and eye protection, and carefully inspect the seats and mounting points for any damage or wear before attempting to remove them. If you are unsure about how to proceed, it's always best to consult a professional mechanic or refer to the owner's manual for more detailed instructions.
How do I adjust the
Do you have the 4G37 or 4G63A or 4G63T? if you don't know.. that basically means do you have a 1.8, 2.0 SOHC, 2.0 DOHC, or a turbo-charged engine? I have an '05 Evo and i small screw on the throttle-body near where the intake connects to it. If you turn it it changes how high the engine will rev while its idleing. I'm not sure if thats what you mean because if not you may have to take it to a shop and get it recalibrated.
Mitsubishi Pajero GDI accelerates too much!
